HIGH-THREAT PSD / CLOSE PROTECTION TRAINING

As one of the first private companies to train the United States military in high-threat PSD operations, CODA TACTICAL has established a long and distinguished past performance training units with a PSD mission overseas. Utilizing tried and true Dept. of State methods, COTI has adapted courses to fit a military mission profile utilizing military equipment and resources.

COTI offers 5 day basic and 10 day advanced courses in Personal Security Detail operations, greatly increasing the abilities and confidence levels of PSD teams operating in high-threat areas. All courses can be customized. Final day of PSD Training, 10th MTN Division, Ft. Drum, NY.

Typical course elements include:

• Detail Member roles and responsibilities
• PSD formations and movement (Mounted and Dismounted)
• Reflexive Live Fire / Combat Marksmanship
• Defensive Driving / High-Threat Motorcade Operations
• Mission Planning / Route Selection and Analysis
• Tactical Driving Skills (braking, turns, ramming, screens)
• Downed Man / Down Driver Takeover Drills
• React to Ambush / OPFOR Scenarios
• Hand to Hand Combat / Defensive Tactics
• Terrorist Operations and Enemy TTPs
• IED / Vehicle Bomb Inspection
• Cover and Evacuation Drills
• Combat Medical Training

Techniques taught have been proven in combat and are utilized by teams with a Tier One mission overseas. All of our instructors are former Special Operations personnel with real-world combat experience. Most have performed these skills live in high-threat areas of the world within the last six months.
