April-June 2009

COTI is selected to provide Vulnerability Assessments, Crew Training, and install piracy deterrents on merchant vessels operated by APL Maritime, LTD. Tasks included emergency response procedures, intelligence briefings, and anti-piracy planning to crew and Ship's Management Team for all US flagged vessels operating in high-risk areas.

March 2009

COTI provides Anti-Piracy Training and Site Surveys to Research Vessels operating in the Gulf of Guinea off the coast of Nigeria.

January 2009

COTI is awarded a contract to provide combat marksmanship and tactical driving training to 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment and Hunter Airfield, Savannah, GA.

October 2008

TII is acquired by Coda Octopus Group, Inc., with US headquarters in New York, NY. TII begins operating under the new name Coda Octopus Tactical Intelligence, Inc. (COTI). Coda Octopus is known worldwide for advanced Maritime Security products and technology including the Echoscope 3D Real time sonar and Underwater Inspection System (UIS). Joining forces with Coda Octopus enables TII to offer and conduct total security solutions and training to the US Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and Law Enforcement Agencies, and greatly expands our abilities in the Maritime domain. COTI will continue to provide realistic live training and counter-terrorism solutions and course development for both ground and waterborne scenarios.
